Support For Ovarian Cancer Patients
Being diagnosed with a life-threatening disease is incredibly frightening. Aside from the medical and physical obstacles that a woman faces, the emotional aspect of living with Ovarian Cancer can be just as difficult.
A complete treatment plan is one that addresses the health concerns of a woman, and the emotional and psychological ones as well. The emotional support of family and friends, and your medical health care team, can increase your quality of life and outlook dramatically. Cancer support groups and patient-to-patient networks can make a woman feel less isolated, and have a stronger outlook on life. Support groups create an environment in which patients and survivors can share similar experiences and rely upon each other for information and encouragement.
