GOCA 4th Annual
Shaken, Not Stirred Gala
Saturday, March 29, 2014
Make your plans to join us at the Atlantic Aviation Hanger on Peachtree DeKalb Airport for the 2014 “Shaken, Not Stirred” Gala presented by Northside Hospital. The James Bond themed event will have a SPARKLING touch to it while benefiting the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance.
Begin the evening with a welcome reception presented by KROGER. Do not forget to bring your cell phone so you can familiarize yourself with the new auction technology provided by GiveSmart. Get ready to smile for the press because The Atlantan and Jezebel are our magazine partners this year.
The evening will be hosted once again by Christine Pullara, host of Atlanta and Company on WXIA. Watch how Christine is getting to the gala this year.
We will be honoring Chris Baxter, ChrisBaxterFishing.com , for his outstanding support and dedication in helping GOCA spread ovarian cancer awareness across the southeast.
Wander through the silent auction enjoying specialty drinks compliments of National Distributing , Tito’s Vodka, 4 Roses Bourbon, and Bombay Sapphire Gin before a dinner provided by The Capital Grille-Dunwoody followed by dessert from Kenny’s Great Pies. Then dance the night away to the musical styling of the Joe Gransden Big Band.
Then celebrate the work of the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance with dancing, casino games, and a live & silent auction.

Your support of the GOCA mission will allow us: to increase awareness and educate Georgia’s women, of all ages, and their families, as well as the healthcare community, about risks, symptoms of ovarian cancer hopefully leading to earlier detection and giving back to those affected by ovarian cancer. Through the Bag of Hope Program, the Survivors Teaching Students(c) series and online media library, GOCA is reaching newly diagnosed ovarian cancer patients, medical professionals, and the online community in an effort to spread the word about ovarian cancer, its symptoms and available resources.
